An experienced professional in Compliance, Risk, and Governance, Carlo has expertise in Enterprise-wide Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance (including Sanctions, AML & CTF), Ethics, Governance, and Business Improvement.
In his role as Interim Head of Group Compliance, Carlo is responsible for ensuring the firm adheres to local and international laws and regulations, and identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various aspects of the business.
Additionally, he holds two law degrees and a Master's in Business Leadership. Carlo is an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, an internationally certified Compliance Professional, a certified Compliance Practitioner, and a certified Ethics Officer.
