The Big Interview With Peter Gollogly

In this exclusive interview, Peter discusses his own career journey, as well as his experience moving to different countries across the world, the impacts of COVID-19, what it’s like working for Skybound and how our recruitment processes set us apart from other advisory companies out there.

On the subject of COVID impacting how we work, Peter said:

"People are more comfortable having dialogue with financial advisers and wealth managers virtually now since we’ve all had to adapt. I think this has changed how most businesses, certainly in our sector will work moving forward."

On the impact of the transition to Skybound from a client perspective, Peter explains how the bottom line is about providing value.

"We’ve expanded key areas that have a big impact on clients like adding a property division, centralising our investment proposition and providing resources which allow our advisers to do the job to the best of their ability.

Peter also talked about his personal experience of the transition to Skybound;

"I’ve personally been very impressed. This is not just a rebrand exercise, we are changing the way we do things. We’ve opened new offices, created specialist technical support divisions and launched our own Skybound Academy.”

Having started his career as, in his own words 'the guy who made coffee for the guy who made the tea' and now sitting on the board of directors, Peter is a true example of the meritocracy within Skybound.
