The Australian Budget in May 2021 saw the Federal Treasurer announce Australia’s tax residency rules for individuals would change as early as 1 July 2022. The proposed changes are arguably the most significant changes to the residence rules since the tax act was first enacted in 1936.
Hosted by AusCham, the webinar will explain the proposed rules and how they are likely to apply to Australian expats living and working in Switzerland.
